Examination

The academic year begins in the first week of March. The division of terms and the schedule of vacation are as under

• First Term : March to May
• Summer Vacation : July
• Second Term : June to August
• Final Term :October to December
• Winter Vacation : January to February

Each term ends with an examination, the dates of which are communicated to the students beforehand. In addition, monthly tests are held regularly for all classes throughout the year. Near the end of the academic year, mandatory detention examination is held. The College has an elaborate examination system supervised by the Exam Cell and assisted by the required paraphernalia and infrastructure such as Exam Halls, etc. A complete forecast of events including holidays is issued to all the students well in advance. Parents are advised to consult this before planning family functions that involve the leave of their children.
