Tariq House (Tariq Bin Ziyad)
This house is named after Tariq Bin Ziyad who was a great Muslim General. He led the Islamic conquest of Hispania in 711 AD. He is considered to be one of the most important military commanders in Arabian history. Under the orders of the Umayyad caliph Al-Walid-I he led his army from morocco, burned all his ships after crossing over three seas and consolidated his troops at a large hill now known as Gibraltar. The Muslim armies under leadership of Tariq Bin Ziyad swept through Hispania. They won a decisive victory by defeating Christians on July 19, 711 at the battle of Gudalete and thus was declared as the conqueror of Spain.
Imad-ud-Din Muhammad Bin Qasim Ukhail Al-Thaqafi (Qasim House)
Imad-ud-Din Muhammad Bin Qasim Ukhail Al-Thaqafi was amongst the finest of generals in Arab History. He, at the age of 17, began the conquest of Sindh and Punjab regions along the Indus River. His conquest of Sindh and Punjab laid the foundation of Islamic rule in the Indian sub continent. In 711 Ad he met the forces of Raja Dahir and Jats at Ar-rur (Rohri) Dahir was killed in the battle, his forces defeated and the triumphant Muhammad Bin Qasim took control of Sindh. With Sindh secured, Qasim sent expeditions and captured area till present day Multan and established Muslim rule in India.
Haider House (Hazrat Ali R.A)
“Haider” is the tittle given to Hazrat Ali by his mother. Haider is an Arabic word which means ‘A fierce of Lion’. Hazrat Ali was born in Makkah and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) named him Ali, meaning the ‘Exalted one’; Hazrat Ali was the first boy, who accepted for his courage’ knowledge, belief, honesty’ unbending devotion to Islam, deep loyalty to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and generously in forgiving his defeated enemies. Hazrat Ali was present in many battles in which prophet Muhammad (PBUH) participated. Hazrat Ali became the fourth Caliph of Islam after the death of Hazrat Usman Ghani.
